Moscow Countryside Residence

This countryside home near Moscow was designed for a family of four — parents and their two sons. While the overall brief was united by a preference for warm natural materials and a calm atmosphere, each family member had a different vision of what the home should feel like. The husband was drawn to a more contemporary, technology-oriented interior with integrated lighting scenarios and clean architectural lines. The decorative direction was developed together with the wife, who wanted the spaces to feel warm, comfortable, and suitable for everyday family life. Both sons were actively involved in the design process and chose the direction of their own rooms. For the older son, a passionate gamer, the goal was to create a space that could easily transform between gaming, listening to music, studying, and relaxing. Adjustable lighting became an important part of the room, allowing the atmosphere to change throughout the day. The younger son had a very different wish list: a hanging chair, a climbing wall, and dedicated elements for movement and play. His room was designed to support an active lifestyle while remaining visually connected to the rest of the house. One of the key challenges of the project was bringing together these very different personalities without creating stylistic conflicts. Neon accents coexist with soft natural textures, children's spaces feel individual without breaking the overall concept, and each room reflects its owner while remaining part of a cohesive family home. The result is a house that balances technology, comfort, and individuality — a home shaped not only by the parents, but by every member of the family.
